Sabina immigrated to Bowling Green, KY from Bosnia in 1994. She developed a desire to help people at a very young age after she was inspired by her experience translating for the Bosnian community.
Sabina is a first-generation immigrant and is bilingual in Bosnian and English. Her passion for helping others began early on. Sabina would translate for many members of the Bosnian community and volunteered at international events.
Following high school, Sabina attended Western Kentucky University where she pursued her undergraduate degree. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts as a double major in Political Science & Psychology with a minor in Criminology. Sabina obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law. During her college career, Sabina stayed involved in extracurricular activities and served as the president of Phi Alpha Delta. Sabina is admitted to practice law by the State Bar of Kentucky and the State Bar of Tennessee.
Following law school, Sabina returned to Bowling Green, Kentucky where she currently resides with her husband Cody, and three children, Maddie, Lincoln, and Lia. Much of her free time is spent at sporting events for her children. Sabina also loves to travel whenever she can.
