17th Annual Bowling Green Community Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, the BG Community Easter Egg Hunt returns for the 17th year! Since 2008, Hughes & Coleman has partnered with Chaney’s Dairy Barn, and later joined by Woodburn Baptist Church to host a free Easter Egg Hunt for the south central Kentucky community. This event has developed into Bowling Green’s largest Easter Egg Hunt, and we can’t wait to watch it expand even further this year!
LIke previous years, the 2024 event will be held the Saturday before Easter weekend (March 23rd) at South Warren High School’s Football Field – 8140 Nashville Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42101. In-person registration for prizes will begin at 2pm CT, and the first hunt will kick-off at 3pm CT.
With 50,000 eggs to hunt, the event will consist of four separate hunts, divided up by age group:
0 – 2 year olds
3 – 4 year olds
5 – 7 year olds
8 – 12 year olds
Each age group will have the chance to gather 10,000+ eggs, and enter to win a bike! Chaney’s Dairy Barn also distributes FREE Ice Cream Coupons to all attendees. Other activities at the event include inflatables, music, free balloons, free concessions, pictures with the Easter Bunny, goody bags, and PRIZES!
Prizes:
Children ages 0 – 12 can register to win a free bicycle and helmet from the event! Pre-registration is now open on our Facebook Event Page on the ‘Tickets’ link, or you can register at the event beginning at 2pm. Winners will be drawn after the final hunt concludes, and you do NOT have to be in attendance to win. EIGHT bikes will be given away in total, two per age group.
In addition to the children’s prizes, we will also be giving away a $200 VISA gift card to one lucky adult (18+ years old) in attendance at the event. Registration for this giveaway will be in-person only, and the winner will be drawn at the conclusion of the event.
